Putin's Russia Baby Steps into Democracy is a good thing, just let them figure it out on their own, for long lasting results, and down push them with constant hammering ala Bush, about how imperfect they are as decmocrats, struggling with their own culture in reconciliation with this new thing called democracy and capitalism. Most still dont get it, but they will, in time. Just give them time, they will get there on their own. With the current culture tendency to blame the US, wrongly in many regards, hammering them pushes them away in retaliation. Got to treat children as such, and use the psycho play, praise good moves, and softly condemn bad moves. Its style of course, buth they will GET IT, in time. Trust me on this one.

Your Excellency, President Putin (Dated November 8th, 2007)
Drazyuiecha Moya Drook,
I want to again congratulate you on improving the Russian economy. The world needs Russia to emerge as a world class economic power to build trade and international social intercourse. The building of an energy empire rivaling OPEC was the smart play. I also congratulate you for your victory and sedating the rebellion in Chechnya, a very good thing, so long as you also insure free speech of all Russians there. I further congratulate on your bravado building confidence in the Russian people. While east and west have different historical orientations, I believe you are leading Russia in very positive ways. I want to again express my sincere thanks for your decision not to run for a 3rd term, evincing that you are a true democrat, see letter herewith 11/1/05. Yet further, I want to congratulate for the very smart decision to work with the US on missile defense in eastern Europe and western Russia. We all want the same thing, to defend ourselves for arrant missiles. In this regard, Iran is a serious threat to world peace, and I kindly ask you once again to lay as much political/economical pressure as possible to ensure peaceful nuke use there. And finally, I ask that you have your finance and social service ministers review, in its entirety, a thread entitle "china transform north korea", as there, your government will understand the neocon mantra, and its relation to the world, as well as to Russia. Understanding is the key to world peace. You have my best wishes.
Very Truly Yours,

Your Excellency, President Putin (Dated November 1st, 2005)
I have long admired your steady leadership at the presidential post of Russia being led in positive directions. From the western perspective, it is important that Russia becomes a strong unified country with a good economy for increase trade and social cooperation and the world peace inherent in that. In the west, there have been concerns of a perceived lack of libertarianism, but I understand that at a time of difficulties in southern Russia, strong controls may be needed to maintain civil stability, and that most Russians are very comfortable with vertical political controls resulting from a history of Czar and politburo strong man rule. However, I was never really sure of your real intentions. (See cited article below) In the west, the manipulation of the Russia's constitution so that you could continue in power would have been seen as a death blow to Russian cultural evolution and a serious threat to world peace in the out years. As such, I have been sitting on the edge of my chair with anxiety to see whether you would change the Russian constitution and seek a third term in the presence of your over whelming popularity and influence in Russian politics.
When I heard yesterday that you would not seek to change the Russian constitution and not seek a third term, I jumped for joy in exaltations for the high moral standard you have now set for later presidents of Russia to follow. It was truly a noble deed to voluntarily surrender your political ambitions, when you had the political influence and power to capture a third term to further your presidency, and did so, for the over all long term good of mother Russia and world peace. You effectively placed the long term good of mother Russia above your own personal ambitions and influence. We in the west intuitively understand that the regular civil transitions of presidential power enables a society and its government to remain flexible and adaptable to world changes and the will of the people for the continued success and long term prosperity and world peace. Regular transitions of political power enable adaptability to geo-economical and geo-political changes, whilst avoiding the concentration of absolute power that eventually corrupts absolutely. You may not fully appreciate how great and beneficial is this adaptability, and I am sure that many common Russians can not fathom and project the long term beneficial effects upon a society by these regular civil transitions.
You may also not fully appreciate, and I am sure that most common Russians do not understand how your decision will effect Russia's future, and effect upon historical views of your presidency and your legacy. In years to come, Russia will look back and say that at a time when Russia could have back-slid into concentrated totalitarian corruption, President Putin stood tall as a true democrat and placed the good of Russia above all else, and acted to maintain democracy and a government responsive to the Russian people. You are a world class hero, and a hero of all the Russias,
MOYA BOYSHOY GEROY! (my great hero)
Sincerely and Most Respectfully

Only Putin among world leader proposes a gold based international currency, (after I published "The New World Order", herein.
The high five of Freedom: God Gold Guns Land Vote
God: Relaxation of Church controls, step in right direction.
Gold: Proposed international currency based in part on Gold, now a freedom proponent, and gets A++++++ for this move.
Guns: Limited (but so is the USA)
Land: Russians can now own land, step in right direction
Vote: Media controls, back room puppeteer, the USA has its socialisitic panderers and bankster bail out crowd, that's a draw.
Sure, they need to work on that democracy thing, have cultural retarding orientations, but, to be honest, NOT MUCH DIFFERENCE, as the US and Russia are both currently into Totalitarian Democracy, but the gold move is huge, in that, from it, freedom flows.

Pretty sorry state of affairs when OUR PAL PUTIN (as Mr. OReilly says) lectures the US on irresponsible socialism, WOULD YOU NOT AGREE?

Russian Prime Minister Vladamir Putin has said the US should take a lesson from the pages of Russian history and not exercise “excessive intervention in economic activity and blind faith in the state’s omnipotence”.
“In the 20th century, the Soviet Union made the state’s role absolute,” Putin said during a speech at the opening ceremony of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. “In the long run, this made the Soviet economy totally uncompetitive. This lesson cost us dearly. I am sure nobody wants to see it repeated.”
Sounding more like Barry Goldwater than the former head of the KGB, Putin said, “Nor should we turn a blind eye to the fact that the spirit of free enterprise, including the principle of personal responsibility of businesspeople, investors, and shareholders for their decisions, is being eroded in the last few months. There is no reason to believe that we can achieve better results by shifting responsibility onto the state.”

I LIKE IT!!!!!! Who would ever think it? Sure Putin controls the russian game, but the CITIZENS pretty much like it, and who are we to instruct them on a time table to democratic prefections. Putin has the security apparatus under control, and is using that tool to keep Russia from imploding, and so, I give Putin a pass, on those controls, for now. I of course do not agree with his political controls, in principle, but Russia has different problems and a different culture, and are traveling their own route, but they will get to a more prefect democracy over time, as they naturally evolve. They are human too, and will figure it out. Just give them time.

The problem of US-Russian relations, is mostly, in my view, cultural. We are affraid that the COMMIE DOMINATING russkies will come back, and are suspicious. They blame the US for their problems and have a culture of strong man rule, not of democracy. The US should be more cooperative with Russia, and encourage WTO, EU, NATO, full integration, and bring us all together. Show some respect, and we will get it back. The US does not understand how counter-productive it is to slam Russia for imperfect democracy, and to skreech in fear of the Russian Bear. Just show some repsect, and cooperate in good faith, and the Bear-Yank great alliance is POSSIBLE.

I can not understate the importance of the gold standard, because from it, honest money and budgets are had along with hard choices, which leads to less socialism and corruption, and puts economic power in the hands of the folks, which leads to economic free speech, which leads to political free speech, which leads to DEMOCRATIC CAPITALISM, which maximizes productivity and charity, and standards of living, and inherent freedom of our individualism. While BHO and British Brown try to pass off the socialistic stimulous plans, to save greedy bankster's derivative plays, getting poo-pooed by the French and Germans, (who would ever think that they would be instructing the US on limited spending), Putin becomes the gold proponent. So, at the G20 4/2/09, Putin is the star of the show, in my view. (But, lets all hope he at least keeps his shirt on, and does not flex his karate-chop muskles for all to see). ON THE FLOOR!!!!
But maybe President Medvedev will show up instead, and as the US and EU brush off the gold idea, Putin maybe is sending Medvedev on another fools erran, with no result on the that front, just like when "cirkovoy miska" circus bear cub, tried to get asia members to recognize Ossieta's independence, and was brushed off, out of hand, last year. I guess that is the standard Putin play, Putin contols his puppets in secret and leads with bold international moves, while cirkovoy miska does the lap dog routine taking the heat under the spot light at center ring.
But Putin has learned, to make sure that when President Medvedev (Medved is Bear in Russian), leaves the Russias, he has a good chance at success, so Putin threw his cirkovoy miska a SOFT BALL, which the circus cub handled very nicely, in excellent form, reducing nuclear arms FURTHER with the US, which is an ideal starter issue, upon which Obama can break the ice, as well, and Obama was great as well.
Putin is one smart cookie.
I am hoping that Putin can see that if he lays low with the hot tounge, and let the FACE MEN, Medvedev and Obama, get chummie together, we could have a break through on the polish missles issue, toward joint design, usage, planing and protection strategies, as the confluence marches on. We get over Iran and Poland issues, and the door is really open to a great Bear-Yank Alliance.
Russia has politburo strong man Putin pulling strings with his face man Medvedev.
US has political fascists Move-on Soros pulling strings with his face man Obama.
What's the freaking difference??
